does anyone know if the early "tube" style window regulators will fit the later model 914s? i have a '73 and the passenger side has the early type regulator. could i buy a later regulator and swap out the early type regulator?

| You have to change out alot of parts and weld in a small piece to hold in the late style regulator to get it to work. |

| so there is a strong possibility that the door is from a different year? what year was the 914 first equipped with late style regulators? |
