| anyone know anything about replaceing cross braces? hard eazy? what's your two cents. also say your cargo floor is cheese, 4 large hols(roughly 5X5) and other smaller holes. should i use replacement pannels and cut the bad stuff out and put the good stuff in, or should i repalce the whole darn thing? would having it all welded up make it weaker? 67 wessy here. |

i did mine in pieces. As far as the braces if ur referring to the ones under the luggage area if u do them both and take alot of measurements its not bad. the new ones are bigger on the inside over the lip of the shifter bushing here is what mine looked like

metwiz.com. Believe there is some of that going on there.
If you cut the channel out, I think you're going to have to weld in temporary bracing.
Perhaps I am on crack? |
