| I chiseled away a 1/2" layer of bondo, and I still don't understand why it was done in the first place?? My 69 bus had a thick layer of bondo all across the nose. The first whack with a mallet and chisel released trapped water like a faucet, but still, there's little rust underneath. Very strange. Why would someone take this course of action? I have about 75% of the skin cleared and sanded to the sheet metal. She'll get a new dress in a few weeks:) |

Why was it done in the first place? Because some folks LOVE bondo!
