| My 71 bus needs a paint job. I've heard Allpro Paint and Body in Southern California is pretty cheap- around 500 for a paint job. I was wondering if anyone has gone to them before and if it is worth the money. Thanks! |

| havent herd of them. But remember...you get what you pay for. For good quality base coat clear coat urethanes, wich is the best way to go, materials alone ie...paint, primer, hardener, masking tape, paper can cost a good 900 buck for good stuff. I mean almost anyone can paint..it the quality of body work and prep for the paint that is what makes or breaks a paint job. Also the type and quality of the products you use will determine how long the paint will hold up. You mentioned you were in So Cal, I would recomend you shel out some bucks for base coat clear coat. The urethane paint will protect aginst the UV rays that Californians enjoy so much. So I guess if you want your paint to look good and last for awile...pay a couple of grand ...if you want your bus to resemble a certian color...and dont mind when it starts to look crappy after a year..go ahead and pay 500 bucks |
