I friend here who is more into Jaguars not very 356 educated, made me a serious offer of $800,000 pesos for it. around $70KUS.

Nop! but it will be very helpfull. Thanks!! first I need to look that 550 in the flesh and see if I can aford it. for now I had only saw the engine of it .
001 was here in a warehouse and was sold for like $180.000US to a guy in The US. People here tought that they made a super deal due to the car was not in very good shape, but after a great resto it later was sold for something like 2 millon.

There's a 3rd person who I saw post on 356talk this morning that is looking for a split window coupe. If you acquire the 550 & decide to sell the '52 & your deal were to fall through with your other 2 interested parties you may want to contact him.
