I just bought this 05 jetta gli, and i think it may need a new clutch. that or it just needs to be adjusted,

I can not find out how to adjust it, i think its cable because i can not find a resovor for a hydraulic clutch, any info is greatly appreciated .

the car has 217xx miles on it. ill be pissed if i have to invest another 1500-1800 after putting less than 2k miles on it......

anyway thanks in advance.

Thanks Joe

thers no adjustment at all it's a hydralic system that runs off the reservoir for the brakes

no warranty on clutches operator error

Interisting they join it to the break sistem. any idea how much of a pain in the ass it is to drop the tranny? and special tools required?

yeah i know about the warrantee and i think its pretty shitty  , unless of course u race it or jsut can not drive stick well.

I noticed my release point varies a little bit, i still have maybe 3 inches of travel after the release point so it should last awile unless i abuse it.

Thanks Joe

its a pain in the ass if you've never done it before and especially if you dont have a car lift to do it on
