Gang,
I should know the answer to this, but I am having a stupid attack.
Back in the day these were the bullet siginals everyone used. What are they from??? A type 3 ??
I need to locate a pair for a Manx restoration.
tks Bart

Here by us the indicators from the old Land Rovers are usually fitted. They can still be bought new...

(Beetle indicator lenses on top of Buggy fenders are also quite popular, but not a personal favourite..)

The usual bullets used were early Karmann Ghia ones. Split screen Bus ones also work well but don't come chrome plated. Later KG ones are just a bit too big though.

Bart,

The early ones were from a ghia.

The type 3 signals are butterflyed at the base and will not come anywhere near to sitting flat on a surface.

I do have a pair of type 3's that have been carefully milled/ sanded down so that they will sit flat on the front fended of a Manx. I also have the rubber for the base that will need to be trimmed to fit the new diameter.

The chrome is about a 9 out of 10. PM me if your interested.

Left original right milled. Both are milled now.
