there seems to be a recent rash of people flipping things before they have them in their actual possession.
is this an abuse of some kind that can be reported and the ads deleted?
i have nothing against making money, but i think you should at least have the stuff in your hands before listing it. |

There is no specific rule but this is a stupid practice. What if it doesn't arrive?
I personally would email the eBay seller and let them know in case they want to take action. |

that is one thing i was thinking.
but also, who's to say the seller here is actually the high bidder/winner on ebay? not everyone has the same usernames here and on ebay. |

Yes, I commonly delete ads that are using photos stolen from eBay auctions.
So yes, if you want to start reporting these sort of things, I will most likely delete the ads unless it clear the seller here is winner there. |

| I had a set of NOS Type 3 mud flaps on eBay a while back. With one day left, the price was at about $120 and they popped up on TheSamba with a $175 price tag, using my pictures. They ended up closing at a hair over $200 and the seller on TS upped his price to $250. Sure enough, the TS seller was the one who won them from me. Then he must have figured he bid too high, and he never paid. Everett deleted his ad on TS after I complained about it. A month later I posted them on TS and sold them in 1 day for $200. Some flippers are also flakes. |

| Doesn't seem worth the trouble for $50. |

Is it ok to use the same picture as the seller? I was planning on buying this, and relisting it for $47.99. I was wondering if i could just copy and paste the ad, then just change the price and use it for myself?

Here is a tested good used headlight switch for Eurpoean busses. There is no 57 terminal like a USA headlight switch would have, since the front running lights are wired differently on a European wired, non-USA bus.
Price is $40, USA shipping included in the price. Outside the USA to pay any additional shipping charges.
I ship the Friday AFTER payment is received.
Right now I really prefer bank account funded Paypal payments (it's easier for me and faster shipping for you). It must be bank account funded or from your current Paypal balance.
**Absolutely NO credit card funded Paypal payments accepted! NO exceptions!**
I will also accept US Postal Money Orders or Cash. Other money orders are ok, but no personal checks, sorry.
Please be patient when emailing, especially on the weekends. I do not spend much time on-line from Friday through Monday. If you email, I will reply.
Thanks for looking, and please see any other ads I may have at this time |

Only if he doesn't mind you stealing his photo and ad description.
In general, this is not allowed. |
