I purchased a set of wheel adapters to change a VW 4 (130 mm) bolt to a Chevy 5 bolt pattern. These adapters are made from cast aluminum and I question the quality. Is there a better choice out there?

Don't know. I've always wondered about those adaptors. They look sort of funky. :!:

Buy some blank drums and have them drilled in the Chevy pattern.

Better yet, buy some already drilled & tapped for Chevy pattern wheels - Saves you the cost of having machine shop drill them...

I take it that you have swingaxle rear, but what is front suspension, King pin or balljoint?

I have been using the adapters for six years and have had no problems with them. I use them on the street and off road. Just keep them tight, and they work fine.
