hi all was curious if there are any major differences between the 54 front beetle fender as compared to the 58 fender(other than the turn signal)
i know they both have the wiring tube and the flat spot at the bottom of the fender where the running board bolts to.any other differences?

No way, totally different to the trained eye, the hump where the headlight is has a totatly different shape..I can spot the difference a mile away.

Aw crap. I was wrong again. So they are stamped different Eric? Can you put up a couple links to cars where this difference is obvious? Like one of your split and one of a 59? Is the fender arch the same?

thanks for the confirmation yustrn....i was planning on bring my 54 fender to the swap this weekend to double check the shape of them.
any pics between the 2 would be great if anybody has them

Fender archs are totally different on the early fenders, that headlight "bulge" is fuller, than later fenders :shock:
