Now, I know that bay window buses can accommodate some tall people, and German cars in general tend to be built for taller people, but can a 6'4" fellow like me actually fit in that little 914? I'm asking because I was thinking a 914 would make a good weekender/gas saver once I'm more familiar with the Type 4 engine.

I think you will have enough leg room but you may run into trouble with overhead clearance. I'm 6-2 and with the seat all the way back, my legs are pretty stretched out but my skull is close to touching the the targa top.

What if my feet are a size 15 W (American)? Will they still fit?

I've never had a problem fitting into a Porsche 914/911/912/928
Or Ferrari. 356's are a little tight, more like a VW, but hey I "can" drive a ghia. :roll:
I'm 6-4, 260 lbs. size 14 shoe.

Im 6,7ins tall and I have a 914 for a few years,my length is in my legs too I did,nt find a huge problem,apart from the gear lever to knee problem!,but a short shift kit sorted that one.
