| I think that is what it is called, frenching something. Well anyway my friends dad cut like an oval shape hole on the pass. fender of my '62 bug a little right of the door hinges and added cylinder shaped metal underneath the fender attaching to the hole. So the antenna sits in there and barely sticks out the top. It looks really nice. was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this. Anyway to post pics? |

Yep, that's called Frenching the Antenna.( Old '50's Custom trick)
Make sure he's got a "Weep Hole" in the bottom of it to drain any water that might get in . |
