Let me start by saying the door has already been butchered by the previous owner on my 63 ragtop to put in one piece windows. The passenger side window rolls down about six inches and then hits the small box that held the door stop. How can I remove or cut a slot in the box so the window will clear it?
There is hardly any room to work so I'm limited in what I can use to cut/grind.
I tried moving the glass back in the regulator but that just caused more problems with the alignment.
Thanks for any help. |

I just finished putting in my one-piece windows, and the instructions say to remove the door stop. You can buy door stops designed for one-piece windows http://store.cip1.com/Merchant2/merchant.php?Scree...2-06-03-04
Otherwise, you just have to be careful not to let your doors swing open fast. |

| Thanks for the reply. The door stop itself has been removed. It's the small box inside the door that the door stop was attached to that the glass is hitting. |
