| A couple of years ago a friend and customer aquired a very nice rust free 81 Scirocco from a military guy that had just shipped it from Germany. Owner there had it biult for racing...engine is highly modified, as a five speed..all the handling equipment, custom exhaust, rollcage custom seats with harnesses etc. Then he want and spent a pile of money on wheels and tires. Never got them mounted as as he was on the way to my place to do it got whacked by some crazy women on the right front corner. Got the fender, edge of hood, front suspension. I got the suspension parts on to move it and it runs perfectly. Wheels and tires are stored and perfect. I posted this to sell for parts(has a clean title) but was looking for input from waterboxer fans to see if it would be feasible to repair this thing and possibly sell it drivable. I'm most air-cooled..Bugs and 911s..so not real up on watercooled. Thx. |

| Without seeing it and just going by your description, I would say it would be feasible. |
