View original topic: HID upgrade for Bradley GT kit

Howdy all,
I recently purchsed a Bradley GT. It lis built on a 69 beetle chassis. The headlights are woefully dark. I'd really like to upgrade to some sweet 5000K HID, but don't know exactly where to start. Is there any source for an upgrade to at least halogens? Anything that would make this little low slung sucker more visible would be a good thing.

here's what my dad used in his buggy...this will allow you to
put in some HID looking bulbs...however, these are 7" bulbs,
I think this is the route I'm going to take for the headlights in
my bradley.

Ebay usually has a ton of the Halogen Conversion headlights listed. They are a good start and you can use some of the hyperwhite halogen bulbs. With the amount of area you have for headlights on a Bradley, you could mount just about anything. There are also usualy quite a few HID conversion kits as well. You might also consider the angel eyes kits for a cool look.

First clean all grounds. Second add relays for your headlights. Third upgrade to H4 style headlights, using the wattage of your choice. 80/100 worked very well for me on my 85 Vanagon.
