I lurk here quite frequently mostly for parts and to look at all of the great air-cooled cars......and I forgot that there was a water-cooled section (sorta). I have been doing water-cooled VW's for roughly 19 years and had a few air-cooled before that ('66 Beetle, '73 Beetle, '73 Fastback). I've owned every water-cooled Mk1 except a Jetta. I'll throw out every bit of info I can give you guys because I would like to see these cars go forever :) My current project is a '77 base Rabbit getting a little makover. Ask questions about it if you want because I've just about done/tried everything when it comes to these cars. Moneypit here............

good to have you here. very nice bunny you have there. i just bought my first water-cooled a couple of weeks ago and will prolly have lots of questions. O'Reilly's sux!
