I am about to do this project at the end of the month.
How do you know how far under the cabinets to stop the flooring, why dont you just go all the way to the wall? will it not at the thickness of the flooring to the cabinets raising the side mounting holes?
I have a 78 westy |

I used an L shaped wooden edge on mine. Sealed it with some varnish:

| I stopped just under the bed-bench base cabinet, more or less used the original sub-floor as my template. For the cabinets had to shim a few of the back corners (drivers side along wall), to compensate for the increased floor height (gap). I'll post an image of my edge peice at the cargo door came out real nice. |

Oangeena,
I like the edging treatment a lot. How thick was your total floor? I have 1/2" plus vinyl roll flooring. Yours looks thicker and I wonder if the same system would work for me.
Sorry I missed your question grandfatherjim. My flooring was maybe between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch thick. But that is not an issue as you simply need to buy a wider piece of the angle aluminium to fit your profile.
Hey and chequered floors rule!
