Looks like it may be a Jamaican. Definatly looks like something Fiber-fab would have made.

Looks very close to an Avenger or a Valkrie both are made by Fiber Fab.

Amante GT. There's one for sale in the classifieds now. Pretty rare beast - was engineered to hold a mid engine V6 or V8 if I remember correctly.

the rear quarter windows are different than the Amante and the pics definitly show a VW engine. Regardless we're all on the right track since they're all made by Fiber Fab.I still think it's the Valkrie which is not pictured.

It's most likely a mod'd Amante GT - the Amante GT body has recesses molded in behind doors that some people cut for side windows... Also, it is my understanding that the GT was not produced by Fiberfab, but was produced by ex-Fiberfab employees that left & created the GT (unconfirmed story) - info found on World Wide (Bathroom Wall) Web at:

* Possible that car is an early Gazelle, prior to Amante GT, if info from above cited passage is true (note reference to enclosed headlights after Voegele Industries purchase of design & tooling from Hebina Plastics...) - Also note the reference made to option of side windows -

 I'd read the info in the site referenced above & look for evidence of welded in roll cage, steel body reinforcements, etc... might have a rare piece here, even more rare than Amante GT??

I'm involved in the one listed for sale in the Samba ad - trying to assist Joe in getting it sold -

FWIW :)
