| I recently got 92 GTI motor is blown bad not fixable I also have a 94 jetta motor and trans in my salvage yard is it a good idea to trans plant and how hard is it to put this motor in it I assume harness motor and trans switch over anything really bad in my way ??? anyone already done this with success |

The engine and tranny should bolt right in. Also the Jetta engine should bolt to the golf tranny. I believe that the wiring and computer systems are different so you would need to swap that as well. Well, it's more like splice the wires together. Check out www.vwvortex.com There will be a plethora of information on swaps like this. Good luck...
Or go with a 1.8T or a VR6 for real exitment :lol: |

| If you still have the donor, figure out a way to transplant the computer as well as the engine. I am for the 1.8T or V6 :D That would be fun |
