thanks glenn, my dad painted and picked the colors out.The case is engine Satin Black, the tins and shroud are a Mesh Grey, when you feel it, the grey feels like a mesh.

Nice motor!
i have that same exhaust set up, glass pack muffler and all, sounds sweet 8)
Though my motor is junk, I've saved up half the money i need to buy this

Skim Mon Mar 26, 2007 4:24 pm

why does the muffler come up the side?

lol Skim

We didnt put the exhaust on it since it would probably put strain on the hook ups since it would be hanging off the table.

I didnt know it was a type 3 air cleaner, im still learning from my mistakes here

mistake #1: empi exhaust and header
#2: empi shifter
#3: finned valve covers although there still new
#4: buying a later bug  (some of you guys say)
#5: the 2 tone paint i guess(although i like it, some get in bad
mood about it)

Motor should be going in the bug along with the clutch and acceleter cable and few other things.
My other motor I might use its long block as a core for a 1776-1914 if thats possible...till then its gonna be stock.

ps maybe i'll do a ricer flybye on glenn after his motors all installed and running

ricers fly bye, drop the clutch in neutral rev few times then slam it in 1st taking off reving it to hell then slam it into second...
