sent her to get painted today. I'm painting her the original color.

Here's the pan after we lifted off the body and put it on the trailer for transport.

I'll be sure to post more pics when she's back from the painter. Mods include shaved trim and front turn signals (at least from on top of the fender). I'm also thinking of having the fuel door shaved and rigging up some type of elbow inside, or getting a 67 or earlier tank. I'm running CB wide 5 discs in the front and type III drums in the rear. :D

Same here!. And thanks to the pics of the chassis. Now I know how that tar insullation stuff look's as mine was torn-up in a few places.

The majority of the pan is original. When I got the pan back from sandblasting, there were three sections that had rusted through. I wanted to retain the seat rails since I've heard that aftermarket seat rails are awful. I also wanted to stay away from removing any perimeter metal. Since the rust was limited to these spots I just patch welded in new replacement pan material. This is the first welding that I have ever done. I bought a millermatic 175 and practiced a little and this is the result. I'll leave the exterior work to the professionals for now.
Here is the passenger rear, just forward of the battery area.

This is the entire forward passenger quarter.

And the driver feet area.

Front BRM's are 5" wide running 165R15
The rear BRM's are 6.5" wide running 205/60R15
I've never had the fenders on while running this setup. I'm running the CB 2" narrowed adjustable beam up front so I don't anticipate any issues there. Do you guy's see clearance issues with the rear setup?

Very cool. I like the wheel choice. Update when you get pictures back from the paint shop. I likes!

I'll be adding pics soon. We have the body, doors, rear fenders and decklid painted. The front fenders are worked and we haven't started on the hood yet. I decided to go with a different color. L36 Azure Blue. We were using a Dupont system and found the code in the speis-hecker database. Standby for more.

Here she is as of today. We got the headliner in and it wasn't that bad. I read some horror stories online here about the process. Not perfect, but I'll take it. Just go slow. I'm currently restoring a set of pop-outs for the quarters.

That's because it's impossible. Buses are unibody
