Where is the best place to get cal-look WEATHER-STRIPPING? Also where can I get the cross member that the sway bar bolts too. I am not sure what it's called, but it goes between the wheels and almost all the way down the center of the car?

Thanks

If you are restoring a Super Beetle, are you sure you want Cal-Look rubber? You know cal-look does not have the slot for the chrome molding that is inserting into the rubber and trims out your windows. So, cal-look is all black, but supers came with the chrome trim around the windows, that rubber is usually called "american". Real Source or BFY Obsolete are good sources but you can pretty much get it any VW place.

It's not just supers that originally had the chrome strip around the rubber - ALL beetles came that way.

The cal-look rubber without the chrome is a lot easier to install, but it really depends on the look you want as to which you use.

www.westcoastmetric.com makes the rubbers.

You can get them from most good VW shops - www.cip1.com, www.aircooled.net and so on.
