that one is nowhere near $1200, and it's original...
OH, I see, it's the batwings that are crazy expensive.
but why? they don't even look all that difficult to make....
Thats not a VW hornring.
The batwing hornring goes upward of $3,000 to $4,000. They are actually pretty complex.
If you can make one for cheap, go for it. I'll be the first to buy one. |

Thats correct John , but a few years ago it was a 130US$ pulley !
I hope it will change soon ! Maybe the dollar will raise a litlle after the elections ! It would be better for us also!
I hate if people have to cancel the deal after seen the exchange rate !
I understand them, but its frustrading, for buyer and seller !
I sold a few years ago a petri pealit for 3000 euro to the USA today it would be 4800 US$ That would be a crack smoking pice
Kind regards,
Guido |

I have been selling almost all of my Zarwerks goods to Europe recently, they get a really good deal. On the other hand, the materials I have to buy from Germany have gotten quite expensive.
That pulley is over priced even at $130 IMO, I have had no problem picking them up around the US shows for $40-$50 recently..... |

There's an interesting '1953 split' for sale on Volkszone at the moment:

Doesn't look like any '53 I've ever seen before! |

Beware these Bosch headlight rings with adjusters at 12 and 3. Won´t fit any VW sedan. As they do not have VW logos and are with the fixed adjuster screws I believe they are for MB 319 truck right side only.

Yes, the VW rings have adjusters at 12 and 9 o'clock, not 12 and 3 o'clock. |

I guess all the pits in glass are free.
I have seen that guy's headlight ads, he's always way high. But who knows, maybe someone somewhere is paying those prices.... |
