ok i am back to building my baja. i am putting the front bumper on. it bolts to the front end(two lower bolts) next it has the to plates with two holes that are next to the shock towers. how do i connect this part? pictures would be a big help.

should weld a bracket from the shock tower....Like this?

I think you mean these?
You have to buy the mounts if your bumper didnt come with them. My local VW place had them. And ive seen them on ebay.

| The easiest way I've done it, is to bolt the bottom brackets on, then bolt the flanges onto the top bars, hand tight. Use a jack to push the bumper and flanges up against the shock tower, and then weld away. |

Thats exactly how I did mine. No measuring or messing it up. :D |
