How true the year should my restoration be? I have spotted seats from a 74 that are very nice and will work but then my car is no longer stock - will this matter some day.
I am very happy with this car - it needs lots of cosmetic work but it is great!!!
My first type 1 - I have had 2 type 2's and a scirroco |

for now you could get the 74 seats, but save the OG ones for
"oneday" |

| I agree. Do whatever you need to do to get it running but save all the parts you take out in case some day you want to sell it you can at least say you have all the original parts. |
