At least you a clever enough to see where the question was going. |

Ok I think I got the whole problem completely solved, lmao. I line the cargo floor with 12 volt lead acid batteries. Stack them two deep if neccessary. Next I line the roof with solar cells. The next step involves the installation of a 150 HP electric motor and regenerative braking. I envision an inverted aluminum 3 blade fan with a cross section of approximately 3 feet. I'll put a 3 foot drive shaft on this puppy and it will break the wind and give me a super slippery drag co-efficiency. I'll install the proper gear ratio to drive an alternator wired to it of course. It'll be way cooler than a plain old VW emblem or any kind of Roo bar. Not to mention, if I should hit an errant cow, instant hamburger!!!
Now, for the pièce de résistance, I will be pulling a trailer! Oh yeah. This baby will be the size of a big rig trailer, low rider style. It will be only as heavy as necessary to transport it's cargo of a solar cell upper surface. It's gonna have a couple of little electric motors to tilt it a little to track the sun's azimuth. Got to be careful here not to turn it into a giant air brake. I'll move to Arizona, yeah, that's the ticket! Anybody got a couple of acres where I can park it at night? If anyone already has one, please send me some pics. |

Wait a minute.
Didn't Earth, Wind & Fire refer to the parts of their name as "elements"?
If Maurice White said it, it must be so...... |

is this fan for running a charging circuit? if so where would you mount it? if its mounted on the nose i can see that but if you plan to put over the roof, that would once again look like an attempt at perpetual motion. the nose might work, cuz the wind encounters that anyway...? |

oops, my goof. i read so many articles i got confused. werent those busses in the $300K range? i gotta wonder how they are storing the hydrogen... |

Of course it will be sticking straight out the front just exactly like the hood ornament from hell, lol. I intend to channel it's energy output into a capacitor diode, once this unit is properly aligned with Venus and Mars, I'll rocket into the future!!!!! I will stay there only as long as it takes me to accumulate the info to cure Parkinson's and Alzheimer's and a few other really nasties. Then I will radically re-deploy the trailer. This redeployment has the potential to radically disrupt the space/time continuum.
OK, OK, just got off the the phone with Michael J. Fox, he thinks it might not work, Stand back a safe distance all. You don't want to get caught up in my fallback plan B. Beam me up Scotty....... |

Dude, everyone knows that you need a capacitor triode to do that. |

ELECTRIK SLIDE: The nose of this Volkswagen pickup says "Elektro-Transporter," and the Varta logo on the door belongs to the battery company supplying most auto manufacturers in Europe. An electric vehicle history page at www.econogics.com says that VW "produced about 70 electric vans for fleet research purposes." This must be one of them. Does anyone know more? | Wanna know why you can't run your car on hydrogen? Because it makes steel brittle. So in case you aren't running cylinders with titanium walls, pistons with the outer parts made from titanium, and heads coated with some other resilient stuff, your engine will not last very long. |

so does nuclear fission, but that never stopped them

I wonder if putting a engine block in a cryogenic freezer would harden the case and increase its longevity? |

| cryogenics dont harden really- its about stress relief. specifically, the internal stress that originates from hot to cold shrinkage in casting and extrusion manufacture, and especially the internal stress caused by forging. makes it stronger structurally, but not likely much more wear resistant, and certainly would not prevent hydrogen embrittlement. its also wildly expensive, and needed really for connecting rods and cranks |

What Stanley Meyer did was add hydro to the current induction system in place on a Volkswagen sand-rail thereby increasing its richness that allows the carburetor to be leaned out on its petrol usage, which is exactly what the current man is {?} doing to his bus.
He claims on his video that he got a 12% increase in fuel economy at 19 mpg.
I have my reservations about this claim, since I've driven Volkswagen's for over 1,000,000 miles and have never had a problem getting 25mpg with a semi stock engine, without using hydro.
As far as your question of Who? Who could be more than what their Name implies?
