I've been looking for a glove box door with the wood sticker on it. Not the Swirly Burl wood type but the straight walnut one. Its for a 1974 super with a curved dash and a square lock / pull. I have a swirly grey colored one to trade its from a later Super, or will purchase if anyone has one layin around. I think VW put them in Sun bugs too?

i know of one in a salvage yard just down the street in a sunbug..email me with how much your looking to spend and i'll ride on down there and buy it for ya :D

You may want to get with Josh, I looked breifly last night, found 3 regular ones, I know I have a wood grained one as I parted out a gold sunbug last summer, but may take a good dig to find it! ( I have a TON O CRAP ;) )

Hey thanks to both of you for looking! As far as price goes I'm guessing around $20 not including any shipping or that stuff, but If its in decent shape I will gladly pay more - Bonus points for the lock still working or being there and even more for actual key that works the lock! - I know I'm reaching!
Bottom line is if its got the walnut sticker and is decent shape I'm buying.

ok i bought it. it's off a 74 super from july. exactly what your looking for ...the in perfect condition has volkswagen scripting on fron and square lock. sorry.. i looked all over for the key but all i could find was the one for the ignition. im sure you could have it keyed. the inside specs stiker..'maz weight tire size ect is there and correct for your year of car as it is the same. it cost me 25 bucks from the parts place. I'll post pics for you tomarrow. get in touch with me about shipping ect. maybe you could trade me some 63 front turn signal seals and lences?..hehe
