I have a recently finished rail with a hydraulic clutch system....I have put about a hundred miles on it and it just developed a problem.
I lost about 1/4 pedal, and every third or fourth push...it goes to the floor...It has been smooth and consistent til this point....there are no leaks what-so-ever, and the fluid is not low....as well as all adjustments seem to be the same on the slave...I was thinking it is an internally leaking master or slave....and I even thought maybe there is air trapped in the line.....I am lenient on the air deal since it was good one minute, and then bad the next....
Does anybody have any good ideas or experience?? I will try to bleed the system for a shot in hell it might be it... |

Maybe the MC or the Slave cylinder need rebuilt.
How old are they, and what brand? |

Nicksan is right on the money.I'd start with a master rebuild kit and go from there. |

| Brand new Empi parts....I am gonna bleed the system tonight, and if it doesn't work....I guess I'll pull off the Master first....I can't think of how to determine which is the culprit....I guess I can grab the parts while being depressed and see if I can feel any thing odd (like fluid bypass)....a long shot, but I haven't seen much for a diagnostic remedy.... |

| that's what I was thinkin' too...I have had a little hang-up problem with the slave....and might think that it might have jacked a seal inside...I could be wrong, but I will post results as soon as I figure it out... |
