just picked up a 73' super and starting a german look project. looking around at different strut applications and it came down to this- Topline Maxx struts or the coil over kit from CSP (http://www.csp-shop.de/cgi-bin/shop2/shop_main.cgi?func=start&wkid=67569818013). i could really use some help here.

Now I don't have or have ever had a Super Beetle. But I have a few friends who do and all they talk about is Topline. Plus CSP is in Europe so itll cost more to ship, unless your over there.

| true, but the Topline's are 500 for a pair when the CSP's are all four shocks for like 750$ when converted to USD. |

| Not a lot of info on CSP's site about their kit. is it adjustable? is it narower than stock? there are two of the big advantages over stock that Topline's MAXX kit offers. CSP is about $750 USD, plus shipping, customs, duties, etc.... it's bound to be well over $900 by the time it is in your hand. and, I'd have a hard time finding a way to spend more than $200 on rear shocks, so even purchasing rear shocks separately, you could get a very good set of konis and Maxx struts up front for much less than the CSP kit. Someone show me some advantage to the CSP kit, please? |
