i orderd a new 68 turn signal switch it has 8 wires on it my old switch has 5 wires on it any ideas on whats going on here? anybody with a 68 that has changed thier switch that can tell me how many wires thier switch had? thx for the comments.please help!!

There are three extra wires on the switch, the ones that are grey are not used in the replacement applications.

black with green strip goes to one turn signal side, black with white strip goes to the other side turn signals, the other should be a black wire with a green and white stripe, and it goes to the relay that makes them work.
The brown wire with the white strip is one of the wires going to the high/low beam relay.
