sorry to hear you paid so much...
just kidding. it looks awesome. i'm glad to hear there are no holes and it's so original. it's a jewel and we all know it. hopefully you'll find a buyer who can appreciate it for what it is and not go get a nice new 2stage paint job on it because it has a few stone chips on the nose. i'll see where i'm at at the end of the month, if i have the cake i'll get in touch. at this point it's as much a dream to me as anyone else. i have a bus that's about as nice on it's way from europe. i'd post pictures but until i have the bus, only a handfull of people have seen photos. maybe i'll buy everett's barndoor and he can buy that bus...hmmmm. |

I would be curious to know what method(s) you used to clean up the paint.
I have a Type 3 that needs a serious paint cleaning. |

EVERETT,
BASICALLY I USE A WATER BASED DEGREASER SPRAY DIRECTLY ON PAINT AND SCRUBB GOOD,THEN BUFF ,,JUST DONT LET DEGREASER DRY IN SUN,HOPEFULLY ITS ORIGINAL PAINT THAT IS ??ORIGINAL PAINT WILL SHINE LIKE BRAND NEW ,SOME CRAPPY REPAINT MIGHT NOT... |
