Ok,
Got a customers car at the shop. Headlights worked when it came in, but no lights to the gauge panel, and he wanted the flasher switch replaced. Replaced the flasher switch, and after some basic troubleshooting, determined that there was a bad circuit in the headlight switch. Pulled a headlight switch from a known good car, one in the shop for bodywork and the headlights worked before, and installed it. Now, when I turn on the lights I get nothing on drivers side and low beam on passengers side, then when I hit the dimmer, I get high beam on drivers side and nothing on passenger side. I know the wiring is correct, since I pulled the entire switch and rewired everything according to the Bentley diagram.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Oh, and the flasher switch works fine. :) |
