He also has great knowledge of parts compatability between the various type's of VW. His e-mail is: MrHanover@aol.com and his name is Danny. If your in need of anything, drop him an e-mail.

| Danny's a good guy. He's been in this hobby far longer than I have (and I've been into it for about 16 years) and I've learned a bit from him and bought some hard to find stuff from him, always got fair deals for what I got too. |

All I can say is after looking high and low for an "AFFORDABLE" good condition original dashpad and window crank for my fasty, and getting replys for mint cond. pads at $200 to $300 and $40 for the crank, he sold me a truly mint condition dashpad and mint crank for $110 total and met me half way between Palm Springs (my location) and San Bernadino (his location). I find that going far above and beyond what most would do.
Thanks again Danny, I will continue to purchase from you!!!

| My cousin picked up some NOS bus parts for me from Danny, a couple of years ago, and they were better than Danny described...they cleaned up very nicely! I would buy from him again. |

I live in Europe, and I bought 2 drawers for my ´77 westy of him and he charged me for shipping with insurence over "the pond", $110 in total. I did a mistake and forgot to send him my shipping adress, so he sent the package locally to a friend of mine in LA. He did not bother to ask me for my adress, he just sent it to my friend who payed my drawers for me...easy way to make money.
So your good friend Danny is not that good all the time... |

| As for this Tomas Persson. I sell to a lot of people and when someone sends payment with no information I put the letter by my computer and when someone emails me asking if I got thier payment then I deal with it. Its not my fault if someone sends payment with no info. It sat for more than a week so I sent it to his friend who sent the payment. So I'm a bad guy for this? Get a life. If your friend wasn't so lazy and would have added to information with payment this would have never happen. Next time send the information with your payment. This happens at least once or twice a month that I get payment with no information and I get blamed for not sending the part when the fact is that if the buyer would send information with his payment this would never happen. Buyers when buying something send all information with payment and this won't happen to you |

I agree it's a PITA when someone buys something and does not include shipping info. It's inconsiderate, really. It's nice when they include a print out of the email, or of the ad. It's annoying when the shipping address is not very legible. Please, make sure the shipping address is there, and easy to read. What the payment is for, too.
However, the seller can email the buyer and ask for shipping info.
Or wait for them to email and ask where their part is, then ask them for the shipping address.
But if you asked for and received $110 for shipping to Europe, but shipped to LA, I'd think a refund on the shipping difference is due. Which is probably close to $100. |
