By default, Samba ads run for 90 days.
TheSamba.com does not allow the re-posting of the same vehicle or part(s) but we do allow you to renew your ad every 14 days, which pops it up to the top of your ad category.
Some people are not aware of this Feature in the Classifieds.
When ads are renewed, they pop to the top of the listings. It also keeps your ad running for 90 days from the date of renewal.
Ads in the Classifieds can currently be renewed once 14 days have passed from either:
1. The original date the ad was posted
2. The date since the ad was last renewed
Once 14 days have passed, a little message will appear under the Last Updated date in your Classifieds Manage screen.
Example:
When you see this message appear, you can either:
1. Edit the Ad - No actual changes are needed, just enter the edit screen and press Edit Ad
or
2. Use the Mark check boxes seen above combined with the drop-down box at the bottom of your Manage screen to renew your ad(s).
Note: The 14 days includes the time. For example, in the ad above, the little message will not appear until 10:59 am or later on the 14th day. |

I removed that to discourage people from renewing a whole page of ads at once, which is totally annoying.
I recommend people renew 5-10 at once MAX. This ensures your ads are:
1. Not skipped over in mass
2. People don't annoyed and block you from the listings
3. I have found it's more effective to repost ads a few at a time each day. I make more sales on more parts this way, often from ads I did not renew that day. |

| Is there a way to bring back "deleted" ads? They're all still saved under "deleted" but I dont see any way to post them back to the classifieds. |

I am the only one who can undelete ads.
The only reason for this would be if you accidentally deleted something (it happens). Email me link(s) to the ad(s) and I will take care of it.
If it expired after 90 days, it is ok to repost it as a new ad. This is the one exception to reposts. :) |
