1st pic BA6 gas heater
2nd ign coil for heater
3rd fuel pump for heater
4th aux recirculation blower
5th heater outlet temp sensor
just remove the fasteners and unplug the harnesses. Plug the fuel inlet to the pump. You should join the resulting big tubes {from the engine to the dash} with a length of flexible tubing so you will still have defrost if you need it. Yes they have value and someone will need them |

If you plan to remove it for good and are interested in selling it, it will be worth far more if you include all the ancillaries. There are a number of switches and wiring harness under the dash that are often forgotten. I believe Germansupplyscott had a great post about this procedure some time back - you could start there for removal instructions.
To answer your question re: fuel, provided a PO didn't alter the setup, there will be a "T" in the fuel line on the passenger side of the bus, about in the middle. This is where you will need to disconnect the heater, then splice the line back together. |

I've got a 77 Canadian Westy as well. On mine, that "T" was located between the fuel filter and the engine's fuel pump, driver's side near the heater control box. Be careful when you pull the heater out, mine was packed with rust and poured out everywhere, mainly on me. Do connect some ducting in the heater's place as the defrost is nice to have.

| Is there a new aftermarket coil or motorcycle coil that can replace factory OG coil. All the Canadian coils are getting rusted to pieces. |

You can use a second ignition coil the same as the one for the engine. |

| Does it have specs or will any 12V coil work. I know bikes are very similar to the BA6 coil in look or even off a lawnmower or small engine. |
