Hello!
I do have 6 V Gossen rev. counter -66

How must I connect it to coil - must I use terminal 1 or 15 - and how to connect to fuse box?

I tried once this kind of connection:
Coil 1 - wire to Gossen's terminal on the right side
From fuse box (15- wire to coil) to terminal on left.
Don't work - instead can't start engine! When I disconnect wire from coil, terminal 1, engine starts....

Tell me what went wrong - and please write insctruction f o r d u m m i e s :)

Hmm... Did I get it --- from coil terminal 15 to Gossen (terminal right) and from Gossen (terminal left) to fuse box (where originally wire from coil 15 was...) ????
-?

-? Here's the page you need. This was scanned from my NOS Gossen. These are the instructions that originally came with the tach.

Yep, these instructions were correct. I installed my Gossen between coil terminal one (1) and fuse box - and now it works fine!
Now I know... 3000 rpm = 92 km/h :)

Hmmm, I noticed that there is a 666 on that tach. I wouldn't trust it, you'd better send it to me so I can make sure it isn't of the devil.

I had the problem after installing the tach the engine would stall. I found that the tach was hot on both sides.

one poll to keyed power- other side to the #15 ( or hot side of coil ) & then the stock light bulb holder. then if there is a ground termanal, now works well.

hello,
i got the same tachometer details at the back of my gossen.
however, the face shows up to 7K RPM. would that mean it is still a 6V?
i have read somewhere that 7K tachs are more of a 12V already.
thank you!

The Gossen tacho's are 6 and 12 volt compatible, so don't have a voltage stamped on them.
