I did a search..... and I must not know how to do it right.
Posted on the cal-look.com site with no results....
So I'm planning out my next street cruiser.... I really like the looks of the centerline bubble front wheels + the zero offset? Factor.
Are you pretty much limited to drum brakes with these wheels? I would like to run disk brakes on all four corners.
I will probably be lowering the frontend slightly (spindles), will I need to look at a narrowed frontend too?
What tire / wheel / brake (type and brand) /spindles / beam / lowered / narrowed combos are proven?
-Also what rear centerline size / offset / tire sizes work well on a slightly lowered '57 with O.G. fenders? Rear disc brakes O.K?
I may want to pick up a set of slicks and extra centerlines for Drag use.
What kind are suggested? (wheel size, tire size, tire brand) Goal set at 230 H.P. Oxyboxer.
Some pictures posted with the combos would be sweet.....
