They are manifolds from a 411 or 412 Variant, shorter than the sedan manifolds, because they had to fit under the (low) deck lid of the station wagon. Type 4s with an 'E' or 'LE' after the model name had fuel injection. Should fit well in a Type 3 conversion

These also look very similar, to some British specification, 1980~83 VW 2000 Type 2 inlet-manifolds, which I have in my spares box!

What do the mid-length aluminum ones fit? They seems to be taller than the cast iron shorty's but not quite at tall as he cast iron tall version. They also have a connecting web between the intake ports.

Maybe Bus? I have some in my stash along with the long and short cast iron versions, but never knew where they came from or WHAT they came off of.

Anyone know?

Thanks ! ! !
