So that's a water tank that we see thru the side windows? Wonder how many thousands of pounds of water that is? For instance if it is 7 ft. x 3 ft. x 4 ft. that's 5,000 pounds just for water.

There were braces that went down to the ground to support the weight of the water. There is a tank inside up past the windows. The rear hatch folded down and was a ladder to get up into the back. Homemade foam footballs were used to trigger the dunk release.
Drive it to the show, set it up and fill it up, collect money to dunk people, drain the tank and drive it home.
Built by NuVintage in Denver Colorado.

That sales flap looks like a rear hatch that was modified to go on the side??

LuckyMonkeyGarage,
You are the picturemiester I swear! I absolutely love this thread! It is very inspiring and very helpful to see sooo many examples of ingenuity combined with bus ownership. I would never have imagined so much diversity. Thank you so very much for starting this thread.
TH
PS: What inspired your name change from Ghostwagen? I asked before in the RooBar thread and never got an answer. Just curious! |
