Can you put a larger engine in the Type 181 to make it more "worthy" of it's predecessor?

The 181's engine is already bigger than the 82's... if I am not mistaken. |

Yes, you can put a larger engine in a type 181, 1776, 1915, 2L etc.
Yes, Things are worthy of being the little bucket-brother to the 182.
One bucket is as buckety as the next bucket. |

Type4 engine - 2270cc of pure awsome. I certainly think it's worthy! ;) Some people have referred to this conversion as a "481". I simply call it "my car". 8) |

Our RoMTOC buddy Cliff in Michigan has a 3200 Lumina in his Thing. Patrick Draper also have a water pumper. And one other Colorado Thing brother drag races his Thing every year at Bandimere. He has a 10 second 1/4 mile car. Yowza.. |
