Hi all.
I tried the search but found no topics on this..
What is the earliest known oval still in existance? I just found 10456394 which is the 1443:rd ever built, if I calculate it right.
Am I correct that it should still have the 25HP engine and grooved/ribbed semaphores? I just got a pic from the owner, I'm picking it up on saturday. |

Yes, if it's an early '53 Beetle is should still have the ribbed semaphores & 25hp engine |

I picked up the car yesterday. It came with smooth semaphores but good news is that the original interior is lurking under those horrible seat-covers!
It's even got it's original 25HP engine. All parts intact except:
What type of aircleaner should this car have? |

| I paid £4750 but it is in superb condition. Just a few scratches here and there which I am hoping to get done later this year. |
