I need some help on this, the set up I have now is driving me crazy. I have a fiberglass dune buggy with a stock 1600 DP with new Bocar 34-3 carb, dual fiberglass exhaust and a new SVDA dist. I have plenty of room for a dual set up which is what I see most people run on these. I have a new 009 dist that I can swith to.

Which dual set up is the best for my engine?

Use the SVDA or switch to the 009?

You will get a large variety of answers to this. Dual carbs will DEFINETLY give you better performance, plus a cooler look. Which type of carbs are subject to personal taste. There seems to be mixed reviews about Kadrons. Webers are always liked by most. Some like Empi. You will probably have to modify your rear cage for the dual exhaust. Another subject of mixed reviews. I personally like the performance sound and look of the dual exhaust, some do not. But that is what is so cool about building your own. You build it to YOUR taste. Have fun. Search the forums. Throw up your hands. Then get what you like. Most important, have FUN!!!!
