| Thanks for the compliment. It was one of those choices I was really second guessing but I figured I could repaint it if I hated it. I like it now that its done. I'm thinking of adding a bright yellow line where the two colours meet just to tie in all the interior and existing yellow accents OR I'm going to put my company logo and signage on the side and tie in the yellow with that somehow. What do you think? |

Do the logo, then it is a legitimate advertising piece for your business. |

| I think a yellow line would look great to accent the colors, maybe even a dual stripe with a darker shade of grey. When are you going to bite the bullet and come down to the desert? It would be cool to make the night run an international event. I'll even throw in the shirt for free. |

| I'd love to come down there for a run seeing as up here they keep closing trails down. I've been so stinking busy with my business that I haven't even made it out to Silver Lakes, MI yet. |

Well we finally made it out to Silver Lake MI and had a great time. Its been 20 years since I was there last. The weather kind of sucked but was a blast all the same. My first day in I managed to snap my frame when I jumped it. There was soem old threaded inserts in the tube and the tubing split and bent up leaving the shock rubbing against the tire. No problem though as we got instant help and took it into Accurate Automotive and the friendly guys there fixed it all up again for me.
We went out for some more great times and the kids absolutely loved it. They were very reluctant to go up the test hill but evil dad did it anyway and then they couldn't get enough of the big dunes. I was amazed at how plush the ride felt in that soft sand. I was hammering through the woops and it was just like skiing in powder snow. In fact the riding up and down through the dunes reminded me very much of skiing in nice soft snow on a nice flowy run with nice dips in the terrain. I'd have to say that riding in that is a lot easier on the car then the hard packed trails I'm used to. That wet sticky sand was a bit of a nuisance but all was good the same.

| Looks like a great time, especially with the family. Glad the car was OK too. Soft sand is always a blast, although my car is a bit under powered. I'm sure you don't have that problem. |

I finally got around to painting up the t- trailer before it rusts away over winter. More work than I thought but hopefully it will help preserve it for a few more years. One coat of Tremclad primer and two coats of Tremclad gloss black. Oh ya, and believe it or not, I painted the body on my buggy with Benjamin Moore Impervo Satin Alkyd paint. It has held up amazingly well so far and is easy to touch up. I used it because A) I'm a contractor B) I wanted something I would not freak out about C) it remains plyable D) it would fill all the spider cracks without cracking E) It's was cheap ( $30.00 for two quarts of paint) F) I could apply it directly over the Tremclad white primer that was already on there.

Dirt in eyes is always a problem.
I just do that little trail to goof around. I don't really like it as it set by MTX bikes and is really slotted and choppy. Not flowy like the trails you get from 4 X 4 followed by ATVs. I hate really super hard packed rutted trails as it just beats the snot out of the car. |

OK, score of the week! I went into Princess Auto ( Canadian version of Harbor Freight) and found this container which is what I was going to make for myself but this is just a 100 times better. Military Spec. box for holding mortor shells or rockets, made of cast fiberglass complete with silicone/ neoprene seal ( waterproof) and lockable. It is very lightweight, durable and just freakin' cool if you ask me. Bought it for $29.00 and it fits my ammo boxes perfectly plus lots more. I know, small things amuse small minds....but hey, it takes little to make me happy. :)

| The small ammo box was $12.00 and the large on was $16.00 and both are in mint shape. I wish I bought more becasue they are usually beat up pretty good and for some reason that day they were great. I have all things electircal in the small one, and tow, tether, and ratchet straps in the larger. I plan on getting more to keep everything organized. |

No one wanted to go out dune buggying with me. 17' C ( 66' F) out and awesome sunny weather. I went up to Raglan by myself and had the best time. I found some new trails with big burmed out corners that I could work the turning brake into and get some Gs into the burms. These trails were mixed with some really technical washes that made for some tricky " get in and out of the gas at the right time" or walk home. I screwed up one time but fortunately a shovel and some elbow grease solved that problem easy enough.Today was probably the best time I've ever had up there. I wasn't even beating the snot out of the buggy, just taking it relatively easy so I could drive it back home again. Nice autumn day with that fresh air smell. Stopped in a Tim Horton's on the way home to come out to a swarm of people around the mud machine. Loved it all!
This is what happens when you second guess your machine, and don't get on the gas hard and reef on the turning brake. The car was pretty much sitting on a 45 degree angle here.
