I'm assuming in your message that you are referring to adjustable pushrods not rockers. YOu don't run adjustable pushrods. You use them to set up your valvetrain geometry so that you can get a correct pushrod length. The Rockers may need to be shimmed out along with a change in pushrod length to get the geometry correct. Everything should be set up so that the rocker is straight when the cam is halfway through it's lift. It may take a bit of messing around with but it's not to bad. I believe in the berg catalog he has instructions to make your own adjustable pushrod if that helps any.

| Unless you went to a longer rod you should not need longer pushrods. If the rocker ratio is the std. 1.1:1 then std. geometry should be fine as well. If you are upgrading to a 1.25:1 rocker then minor shim adjustment MAY be needed. Some of these actually are good right from he get go. 1.4:1 and yes you will need to shim for proper geometry. Make sure your swivel feet adj. are the USA ones and not the Taiwann models. Depending on your budget the best are the O.E.M. Porsche 911 adjusters but they are pricey. The std. USA swivel feet perform just then same basically. |
