I need to help the handling of my 66 ghia and wanted to put on sway bars. I see with a swing axle a camber compensator is used on the rear....I was surprised on one of the VW web sites to see a rear sway bar for a swing axle...which should I use? Anyone have any time with either or?

I am surprised. I would think a few of you loyal readers would have had past knowlegde of swaybars...no autocrossers out there?

Aircooled.Net sponsers a man named Greg Ward that autocrosses a Ghia down in Australia. He is running adjustable (yes, adjustable) swaybars front and rear which AC.Net carries.

You can stick with the camber compensator in the rear, or you can switch to a sway bar, but generally, both are not used at the same time. Can you say "slot-car"? :-)

I have a 61 beetle that I autocross , I run the Whiteline adjustable sway bars front and rear , that are sold thru Aircooled Net , much better results than with the front swaybar and rear camber compensator that I was running. TROY
