| I'm usually not a fan of white cars, but I do like the color on a Ghia! :D |

| White is a nice color, kinda sleeper. Grelland, are those 5.5's now? Staying with bumper blades? or are you planning on euro or full towel rails? Same blades on xWestonx, you? I like all the og rims, real 2Litres, mahle baby gas burners, Gas Burners, Pedrinis, Fuchs. Light, strong, classic. |

I'm up in the air on the bumper. I will keep it as a blade for now. I may go bumperless or T-Bar in the front. I love the bumperless look on a Ghia, but it makes me nervous, especially after what happened to my 67 bug which only had T-Bars... |

Hi mate, that has to be for me the best look so far :) What sort of shit did you have to do to make them fit?
The rears believe it or not just bolted right on. I think the 68 has a certain axle, not exactly sure But I believe its the long version that made just bolt on. The front I have a 4inch beam with drop spindles. It rubs on a full lock on a turn but driving it is just fine. Got them professionally balanced and they ride like a dream. Wish they made 18's!
Thanks for the comments! |

the ones on the pic are 5.5s
I have not been able to find any good, cheap euro overrides yet, so for now I have just the blades in the rear.... |

To each their own.. I usually dont make a habit of stating what I dont like about other peoples cars. Most people build their cars the way they want them to look. I could give a Crap about what you do or dont like. Keep your negativity to yourself... |

I'm not quite sure what these are, but they seem to have come from Brazil, and they are shiny!
I have seen them on a few other VWs, anyone care to fill me in on what they are?
Did you ever get any replies on this? I have those rims on my '73 Ghia (I bought it that way). I've only seen them a couple other times. In one of my VW books there's a pic of a late beetle vert with them on it with a caption that says something to the effect of it being a special edition bug with "special" wheels. I've also seen them on Brazilian VW's(but not chromed, as mine are). I don't remember the wheels having any markings other than the size. |

Hey, thanks for the reply and input. I kinda like the look of them on my Ghia. I'm running them with Porsche nipple caps all around. I'll get some pics and post them sooner or later. |
