I have oil, and this only happens when the headlights are on.
While driving at night with my headlights on my generator light is on, but very dim until I hit the brakes. That it killing me too.
When I come to a stop light or let the engine idle for a few minutes, with the headlights on the oil light comes on. If I tap the accelorator pedal the light goes out when the rpms increase. I cannot for the life of me figure this one out. ANY ideas? |

Is the fan belt loose?
6 or 12 volt?
Terminations corroded?
Idiot lights swapped?
Are the idiot lights tied to the same circuit as the headlights? |

Belt is ok, new coil, and cap and all that jazz. New regulator.
according to the wiring diagrams in a few different books, everything appears to be in order |
