I have a 1776 engine with 40 webers, it was working fine but I had a backfire on cyl 3 and 4 I had to clean out the carb, reinstalled and balaced both carbs. Now the engine idles ok but when I accelerate I have no power. I cleaned and regapped all the plugs and cyl 1, 2 and 3 work fine but cyl 4 does not fire. I checked for spark and that is ok i changed spark plug and it still does not fire on that cyl. could I have blown something inside the cyl, what should I check next?

| sounds like you have a bad valve. |

| put a compression gage on that cylinder and check it. |
