Well 6 months till i get my drivers license!
Now this bug is a 1969 normal type 1 with the only big mod being that the owner before me tried to make it into a cal-look. The car was in a wreck at some time which looks like it was rolled. now here are some pictures.

Whats your plans for it? My first V-Dub was a 69' and I loved that car. I beat the crap out of it but I did loved it. Looks like you got yourself a pretty decent project. Good luck and keep up posted.

Well, my plans for this bug is just to make it a car that is solid and strong so i can do as you did with your 69 beat it up but still love it, i probably wont beat it up that bad just put a lot of miles on her. I will slowly post more pictures.

It's the kid's first car. Let him dress it up as he sees fit. Hell, how many 14-year olds do you know these days who work on cars?

Now you are up to date with my current project the nose of the bug. As i stated erlier the bug was in a accident. I treid to fix the front apron but it was so mangled it wouldent clean up so for my birthday i got a fornt nose kit from cip1. I will take better pictures of the clip itself you realy cant tell by the last pic because the fenders are on.

It's great to see young folks taking an interest in ACVW's. Keep up the good work!

What a fine job. I envy your work area...great big garage in the peaceful woods. You'll have the sweetest ride when you're 16.

Another car in the saved column. Nice job!

Great Car and nice work!

Leave the Mopar emblem if that is what you like. I got a kick out of it when I saw the pic!

Icy Tue Jul 10, 2007 7:29 am

Did you do that yourself? Don't let anything anyone who bad-mouths what you've done get to you. You're doing a great job and should be proud.

Bugs69 Tue Jul 10, 2007 9:27 am

Nice job german69. Keep of the great work. I also have a 69 I'm working on but don't have that nice garage you have.

You are developing skills and interests that some of us wish we had had your age.

Do you do your own welding? If so I am way jealous, at 28 I am still just thinking about buying a welder.

Great job, man.

Really good job.

I wished I had purchased my Beetle when I was your age too. Instead I got an average teenager economy car. Now at 20 I can finally put my money and efforts towards it.

You will be really happy when you are a bit older and you have a good cheap car that draws attention everywhere you go.

Keep us updated.
