| 1835's are not a good motor. build a 1915, it uses 94mm pistons. 1915 will cost you the same abount of money as a 1835 but you will have more power and thicker cylinder walls for added relability. 1835's just dont make sense anymore. |

instead of using 92s you might want to consider 94 P's and C's and bump it up to 1915. The 92 used to make 1835cc are just 90.5s that are bored out, leaving them with thin walls and not so good heat dispersion. the 94s, however are made from a different casting which has over all thicker walls and better heat transfer, leading to a more reliable longer lasting setup. Remember, this is only advice, and I must point that out, so if an 1835 is what you can afford/want/whatever reason, then go for it.

(disclaimer, I don't know everything, so second opinions are always good, why don't you ask Erik G? He wrote the book on all this! |

| all the power in the world don't mean a thing if you can't get it to the ground. while you are putting the thought into building your engine, (got some good advice above, btw,) put the same amount of thought into the rest of the drivetrain- beef up the trans, and install a trans brace to cut wheel hop, beef up the brakes so the whoa matches the go, and invest in some good wheels and tires. |
